Got a bootleg Zaxxon with no sound?
Found this repair log / snippet while archiving some stuff. I
remember i'd bought a bootleg Zaxxon board as a working board but
without sound
Well, initially I wired up the adapter loom as per the original
Zaxxon pinouts found on Spies. However I noticed that there was no
power getting to the sound board, but there were a couple of extra
connectors on that board not present on the original. After a bit
of probing about I connected it up as follows and everything works
just fine.
There is a Molex KK six pin header on the sound board. Wire this up
as below and you will get sound.
1. +12v
2. +5v
3. Spkr+
4. Spkr-
5. N/C
6. GND
